In 2022, we took a Skillshare class on how to create realistic looking digital mosaics using the art program ProCreate. Shortly creating our first one, we were addicted to the meditative nature of these pieces and we quickly realized we had to try combining this fauxsaic technique with the techniques we learned in how to design a seamless repeat pattern. This turned out to be significantly harder than we expected but we eventually figured it out and had a mosaic pattern ready for color variations.
We, of course, had to make pride versions, and planned to start advertising them the next pride season. However, before we could make it to pride, we made the decision to migrate from Redbubble to Etsy. We had our hands full with creating listings for our Pride Dice and (then) new Pride Moon series’ and suddenly the release of the pride mosaics had to be delayed another year.
